The senior adult ministry strives to build community in our age group and support each other in what God has called each of us to do. We strive to connect in these important areas:
- We connect with each other. 50+ plans social times in order to get to know each other.
- We support each other. We pray for each other, have special ministry times, and sow into each other’s lives.
- We challenge each other to walk in the fullness of our callings.
- We commit to making a difference in the world around us and in the world at large. We reach out, individually and as a group, to make a Godly difference here at Southpark and wherever God places us.
We currently have two primary activities that seniors are involved in: J.O.Y. Fellowship which meets on the third Thursday of each month for a pot luck dinner and table games. The second activity is a bi-monthly travel activity to attractions around our state.
